Kyushindo
The Kyushindo International Association was founded in England by Chief George Mayo (DO ND), 10th Dan.

Chief Mayo was a Naturopath, Osteopath, and Martial Arts Instructor from France. His knowledge of Kinesiology, a study of body movements, helped forge a new, practical and modern self-defence style with traditional Judo and Karate foundations. He refined and modified the movements for maximum efficiency.
Our Story
Peter and Geoff Berridge trained under the guidance of Chief Mayo in England. In 1969 they emigrated to South Australia and in 1970 opened their first club in Elizabeth Park, South Australia. Kyushindo grew in South Australia through persistent and constant training sessions at various venues. In recent years, Peter Berridge received his 7th Dan in England from Sensei Deigo 'Ricky' Giardina.
